Ep 9. Sound the Alarm

In Storage Hunters season 4 episode 9, titled "Sound the Alarm," bidders are taken to Fullerton, California where they try to outbid each other for the contents of abandoned storage units. Sean Kelly, the auctioneer, comments on each unit and gives the bidders a general idea of what might be inside. From there, the bidders have only a quick glimpse of what's inside and then they must decide how much they're willing to spend.

The first unit up for bid is a large 10x30 unit that contains what seems like an endless amount of tools. One bidder, Brandon Bernier, takes a liking to it and already has a plan to immediately start making money off of the contents. Despite some competition from other bidders, Brandon ends up winning the unit and he's excited to see what treasures he has inside.

Next up is a smaller 10x15 unit that seems to be packed with all kinds of electronic devices. This unit is a bit more mysterious, as none of the bidders can determine what kind of electronics are inside, but they are all intrigued nonetheless. A fierce bidding war ensues, with everyone wanting to win this unit. In the end, it comes down to two bidders, but the winner walks away feeling like they got the deal of a lifetime.

The third unit is a 10x20 unit that is stacked floor to ceiling with what looks like household items. There are tons of boxes, bags, and assorted items that have been stacked randomly in the unit. Some of the bidders speculate that it's just a bunch of junk, but others recognize that there might be hidden treasures in this mess. As the bids go up, the tension from the bidders is palpable, and in the end, one lucky bidder wins the unit.

The fourth unit is a smaller 10x10 unit that looks like it has some industrial equipment inside. The bidders are excited by this unit, as they know that industrial equipment can be very expensive and valuable. However, the bidding doesn't go quite as high as they had hoped, and one bidder walks away with a unit that might not have been quite as profitable as they had hoped.

Finally, the fifth and last unit up for bid is a 10x25 unit that contains quite a few musical instruments. The bidders are excited by this unit, as they know that musical instruments can be very valuable if they're in good condition. However, as they start to look deeper into the unit, they realize that most of the instruments are in pretty rough shape. Despite this, one bidder is excited by the unit and takes a chance, hoping that they can somehow transform these instruments into something valuable.

Throughout the episode, there are moments of drama, as bidders compete to get their hands on the units and then speculate on what could be inside. Sean Kelly adds to the excitement by pointing out potential valuable items in each unit, and the bidders are all eager to come out on top. In the end, only a few bidders come away with units that have a chance at being profitable, but all of them had a great time vying for the chance to uncover some hidden treasure.
