When It Rains / Back to the Barn - In "When It Rains," Steven takes Peridot onto the roof to teach her about rain, but they encounter a problem. Peridot has never experienced rain before and becomes overwhelmed by the sensation. When a storm hits, Steven and Peridot take shelter inside the barn and she reveals some surprising information about the cluster.

In "Back to the Barn," Steven and the Gems head to the barn to build a drill that will hopefully reach the cluster before it emerges. While there, they encounter Peridot's original cohorts and a battle ensues to determine who will be the leader of a new group of Peridots. In order to prove herself, Peridot must outsmart and outbuild her former colleagues.
