Ep 46. The Message

In the message, Peridot reveals that Homeworld is sending a massive, destructive weapon to Earth known as the "Galactic Warp." She also reveals that she has been trying to stop the weapon from reaching Earth, but has been unable to do so on her own.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, the Crystal Gems rush to stop the weapon from destroying Earth. They track the signal to a nearby mountaintop where they find the Homeworld warp pad that is being used to send the weapon to Earth.

With only minutes to spare, Steven manages to use his powers to destroy the warp pad and stop the weapon from arriving on Earth. However, in doing so, he triggers a dangerous explosion that puts the lives of the Crystal Gems in jeopardy.

In the final moments of the episode, the Crystal Gems are faced with the difficult choice of whether to save themselves or to try and save a nearby city that is in danger of being destroyed by the explosion. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers eagerly anticipating the next episode to see what fate lies in store for Steven and the Crystal Gems.
