Ep 8. Reality Bites

Frank and Carol decide to compete on a reality show called "Marriage Maze," where couples face various challenges to test their relationships. When they arrive on set, they meet the other couples, who seem to be having some relationship issues. Meanwhile, on the side-lines, a documentary filmmaker is shooting behind-the-scenes footage for a separate project.

During the first challenge, the couples must navigate through a maze blindfolded. Frank and Carol seem to be doing well, until they accidentally stumble into a camera crew filming a different show, causing them to lose time. Despite this setback, they manage to make up some time during the second challenge, where they must answer questions about each other.

Things start to go sour during the third challenge, where each partner must give the other a makeover. Frank is horrified by the clothes Carol picks out for him, and Carol is equally unimpressed with Frank's hairdressing skills. As tensions rise, they begin to bicker and argue, with producers and other couples looking on in shock.

Although they manage to complete the challenge, it's clear that Frank and Carol's relationship is on the rocks. They barely talk to each other during dinner, and Frank sneaks off to the bar to drown his sorrows. Meanwhile, the documentary filmmaker is capturing all the drama, including Frank's drunken confession that he's not sure he even wants to be with Carol anymore.

The next day, the couples must face their final challenge: a giant obstacle course. Frank and Carol are trailing behind the other couples, with Frank's hangover making it difficult for him to keep up. However, when Carol falls off a balance beam, Frank rallies and encourages her to keep going. They manage to make up time and complete the course, winning the competition.

Despite their victory, Frank and Carol are still struggling with their relationship. However, the experience has brought them closer together, and they decide to renew their vows on the show. The other couples are moved by their commitment to each other, and the documentary filmmaker captures the heartwarming moment on film.

Back at home, Frank and Carol reflect on their experience on the show and their renewed commitment to each other. They realize that sometimes it takes a little competition and a lot of hard work to strengthen a relationship.
