In season 6 episode 15 of "Step by Step," titled "Show Me the Money," the Foster and Lambert families come together to participate in a raffle for a car. Frank Lambert (played by Patrick Duffy) is confident that he will win the raffle and is already planning what he will do with the car. Meanwhile, his wife Carol Foster (played by Suzanne Somers) is skeptical about their chances of winning and is instead focused on finding ways to make money to support their family.

As the two families wait for the raffle to begin, they start discussing their financial situations and their various money-making endeavors. J.T. (played by Brandon Call) reveals that he has been making money by selling candy at school, but his parents are concerned that he is not focusing enough on his studies. Al (played by Christine Lakin) is also trying to make some extra cash by selling her poetry, but she becomes discouraged when no one seems interested in buying it.

At the raffle, tensions rise as the families compete for the car. Frank and Carol both try to increase their chances of winning by buying more raffle tickets, but their efforts are thwarted when they accidentally spill their drinks on the tickets. As the winner of the car is finally announced, the families are shocked to discover that it is someone entirely unexpected.

After the raffle, the families come together to reflect on their various money-making endeavors. They discuss the importance of budgeting and saving money, and they come up with new ideas for how to make extra cash. J.T. decides to start selling his candy at the local flea market, while Al decides to offer her poetry for free in order to gain more exposure. Frank and Carol also come up with a new plan to save money by cutting back on their expenses and finding ways to earn more money without taking on additional work.

Throughout the episode, the families learn valuable lessons about the importance of financial responsibility and working hard to achieve their goals. As they navigate their various money-making endeavors, they also come together as a family and learn to support each other in their individual pursuits. By the end of the episode, they are all on a path towards financial stability and success.
