As night falls, the siblings and Burt take shelter in a cave. They hear the distant roar of a T-rex and are frightened. Stella and Sam huddle together as Burt assures them that they will be safe.
The next morning, Stella and Sam wake up to find that they have been transported back to their own time. They are disappointed that they have to leave the dinosaurs behind, but they are comforted in the fact that they have made new friends and had an incredible adventure.
