Ep 4. Fred's Birthday

Stella & Sam is a children's animated television show that follows the adventures of two siblings, Stella and Sam, as they explore the world around them and learn important life lessons. In season 2, episode 4, titled "Fred's Birthday," the focus is on Fred, Stella and Sam's beloved stuffed bunny.

It's Fred's birthday, and Stella and Sam are determined to make it a special day for their beloved toy. They wake up early and head to the kitchen to bake a cake. While they are mixing the ingredients, they get into a bit of a mess. Flour and sugar end up all over the kitchen, but the siblings don't mind because they are having fun together.

Once the cake is in the oven, Stella and Sam decide to make some decorations for Fred's party. They gather construction paper, glitter, and glue and get to work. They make birthday hats, balloons, and a banner that says, "Happy Birthday Fred!"

As they are decorating, Stella and Sam get a little sidetracked when they notice some ants crawling on the window sill. They decide that the ants need a party too, and they make tiny hats and balloons for them. The ants don't seem too interested in the party, but Stella and Sam have fun anyway.

When the cake is finished baking, Stella and Sam take it out of the oven to cool. They can hardly wait to ice it and put the candles on top. But they have a problem – they can't find the candles. They search through the cupboards and drawers, but there are no candles to be found. Stella and Sam are disappointed that they won't be able to have a proper birthday celebration.

Just then, their mom comes into the kitchen and sees their sad faces. She asks what's wrong, and the siblings tell her about the missing candles. Their mom tells them that they can still have a great party without candles. She suggests that they make a wish for Fred and give him a big hug instead.

Stella and Sam love their mom's idea, and they get to work icing the cake. While they are icing, the phone rings. It's their grandma, who is calling to wish Fred a happy birthday. Stella and Sam ask her to sing "Happy Birthday" to Fred over the phone, and they all sing together. It's a special moment for the siblings, and they feel grateful for their family.

After the call, Stella and Sam cut the cake and serve it on their best china plates. They sing "Happy Birthday" to Fred and make their wishes, just like their mom suggested. It's a simple celebration, but it's filled with love and joy.

As the episode comes to a close, Stella and Sam tuck Fred into bed and kiss him goodnight. It's been a great birthday, and they are already looking forward to next year's celebration. The siblings learn that it's not about the candles or the gifts, but about the love and care they show for each other.
