Ep 12. Unnatural Selection

SG1 returns to the planet Hala to follow up on their previous mission, only to find the entire population has been wiped out by an unknown disease. After finding a survivor, they discover that the disease was created by the Goa'uld Nirrti and that she has been conducting genetic experiments on the inhabitants of Hala.

The team decides to investigate further and discovers that Nirrti has been using the Stargate to travel to various worlds where she conducts her genetic experiments. SG1 follows her to a planet where they find an underground laboratory where Nirrti has been experimenting on a race of beings with extraordinary abilities.

As they explore the laboratory, SG1 discovers that Nirrti has created a new kind of Goa'uld symbiote that can control the powers of these beings. This new symbiote is more powerful than any other and can transfer the abilities of the hosts to the Goa'uld itself, making it nearly invincible.

While exploring the laboratory, the team finds a device that can create a powerful energy field capable of killing any living thing within it. Nirrti plans to use this weapon to wipe out her enemies and establish herself as the most powerful Goa'uld in the galaxy.

SG1 decides to sabotage the device and destroy the laboratory before Nirrti can activate the weapon. As they work to complete their mission, they are confronted by Nirrti and her new symbiote. A fierce battle ensues and SG1 is forced to use all of their skills and resources to defeat Nirrti and her dangerous creation.

In the end, SG1 destroys the laboratory and stop Nirrti's plans from coming to fruition. However, they are not able to save all the beings that Nirrti had experimented on and must return to Earth with the knowledge of her dangerous new weapon.

Unnatural Selection is an action-packed episode that explores the dangers of genetic engineering and the lengths some Goa'uld will go to achieve absolute power. SG1 must once again put their lives on the line to protect the galaxy from the threats of the Goa'uld and their dangerous creations. With high stakes and intense action, Unnatural Selection is a thrilling addition to the Stargate SG1 series.
