In the second part of the two-part episode, "The Tok'ra: Part 2," SG-1 is still on a mission to rescue their comrades who have been taken hostage by the Goa'uld. The team has teamed up with the Tok'ra, a group of rebel Goa'uld who oppose the evil intentions of the other Goa'uld. The team and the Tok'ra are attempting to make an attack on the Goa'uld base to rescue their comrades, but things take a turn for the worse when one of them is captured and tortured for information.
Meanwhile, SG-1 must also deal with the aftermath of their encounter with the Goa'uld in the previous episode. They have learned that the aliens are stronger and more advanced than they ever thought possible. The team is racing against time to save their friends and stop the Goa'uld's evil plan, all while coming to terms with the danger and seriousness of their mission.
Throughout the episode, there are several tense action scenes as the team fights against their enemies. However, much of the drama of the episode comes from the personal relationships that are explored between the different characters. This includes the intense bond that develops between one of the SG-1 team members and a member of the Tok'ra, as well as the strained relationship between the team and another member of the Tok'ra who they suspect of spying on them.
