Ep 6. An Old Friend

As the war wages on, the fifth season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars continues with episode six titled "An Old Friend." The episode follows the beloved characters of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker as they receive an unexpected visit from an old friend, Rush Clovis.

Clovis, a former Senator of the Banking Clan and a previous love interest of Padmé Amidala, seeks help from the Republic after being targeted by his former allies. However, Clovis doesn't come alone as his presence sparks tension and distrust between Anakin and Padmé due to their complicated past.

As the trio embarks on a mission to uncover the truth behind the Banking Clan's activities, they encounter numerous obstacles including an attempted assassination and a hunt through a dangerous jungle. Along the way, Anakin's growing jealousy and anger towards Clovis starts to affect his judgment and puts the mission and his relationship with Padmé in danger.

Meanwhile, on the Separatist side, Count Dooku and his apprentice, Asajj Ventress, continue to scheme and plot against Clovis, leading to a climactic showdown between the Republic and the Separatist forces.
