Ep 3. Front Runners

In Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 5 episode 3 titled "Front Runners," the story follows the events after the previous episode, "A War on Two Fronts." The Jedi Council has sent Jedi Generals to Onderon to train a group of rebels to fight against the Separatist armies that have seized control of the planet.

Steela proposes a plan to rescue him, but Saw is skeptical and wants to stick to their original plan of attacking the Separatist base. Steela argues that rescuing Lux is their priority, as he is an important ally who can help them in the fight.

Meanwhile, Lux is brought before King Rash, who tries to convince him to betray the rebels. Lux refuses and is taken to a cell, where he is tortured by a droid interrogator. However, Ahsoka senses his pain through the Force and leads the rebels on a rescue mission.

The rebels infiltrate the Separatist base and rescue Lux, but they trigger an alarm in the process. They are forced to fight their way out and are confronted by a squad of battle droids and a gunship. Ahsoka, Saw, and Steela manage to destroy the gunship and the droids, but Steela is critically injured in the process.

The episode ends with the rebels mourning Steela's death and deciding to carry on the fight in her honor. Ahsoka tells them that they have inspired others to join their cause, and that they are not alone in their struggle against the Separatists.
