After receiving a distress signal from a planet in the Delta Quadrant, the crew of the USS Voyager sets out to investigate. However, upon arrival, they discover that the planet is a duplicate of their own ship and crew - created as a result of an experiment gone wrong.
As the crew struggles to make sense of their situation, they begin to experience strange physical symptoms and equipment malfunctions. It becomes clear that the planet is deteriorating at an alarming rate, and the crew only have a short amount of time to find a solution before they are destroyed along with their duplicate ship.
As the situation grows increasingly dire, tensions rise within the crew as they struggle to come to terms with their doomed fate. Some attempt to remain optimistic and maintain a sense of hope, while others begin to spiral into despair.
Meanwhile, Captain Janeway and Tom Paris must contend with their own personal demons as they deal with the emotional toll of their situation. As the clock ticks down, they must find a way to maintain their composure and work together to find a solution - even as their ship and crew begin to disintegrate around them.
Overall, "Course: Oblivion" is a tense and emotionally charged episode that explores themes of mortality, hope, and perseverance in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. As the crew of Voyager races against time to save themselves and each other, viewers are taken on a thrilling and suspenseful journey that will keep them on the edge of their seats until the very end.
