Ep 8. Attached

Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Doctor Beverly Crusher are sent on a secret diplomatic mission to the planet Kesprytt III to negotiate their admission into the United Federation of Planets. However, things quickly go awry when the Kes continue to change the location of the negotiations, sending the Enterprise on a wild goose chase across the planet.

As tensions rise between the Kes and the Starfleet crew, Picard and Crusher are kidnapped by two Kes leaders who claim to have telepathic abilities. Forced to communicate with each other through their minds, Picard and Crusher face their deep personal issues and secrets, all while trying to escape and complete their diplomatic mission.

Meanwhile, back on the Enterprise, Commander Riker and the crew work to locate their missing captain and doctor, as well as deal with the increasingly hostile Kes government. As the situation becomes more dire, the crew must make difficult choices and confront their own prejudices towards the Kes people.

"Attached" is a thought-provoking and exciting episode that delves deep into the relationships between the main characters, while also exploring the larger themes of diplomacy, communication, and prejudice. With strong performances from the core cast and an engaging plot, this episode is a standout in the final season of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
