Ep 26. Descent (Part 1)

The crew of the USS Enterprise, led by Captain Jean-Luc Picard, becomes embroiled in a new conflict when they encounter a group of rogue Borg who have gone against their collective nature. Data feels a strange connection with Hugh, which leads to him joining forces with him against the rest of the crew.

The episode ends as the Enterprise crew splits up, with Captain Picard leading a mission to disable the Borg stronghold and the renegade Borg taking Data with them on a separate mission. The stage is set for an epic showdown between the Federation and the rogue Borg, with Data's allegiance being called into question.
