Ep 1. Beyond the Farthest Star

Despite the episode's animated format, "Beyond the Farthest Star" is a tense and dramatic entry in the Star Trek franchise, relying on impressively detailed and creatively drawn characters and settings to build a palpably eerie atmosphere. Even without live-action performers, the show manages to capture the spirit of the original series, providing fans of the franchise with a new and exciting way to explore the final frontier.
