Archer is hoping for some relaxation and romance during his time on Risa but finds himself in an unexpected situation when he meets a beautiful and mysterious alien woman named Keyla. Despite being warned not to trust anyone, Archer falls for Keyla's charms, only to discover that she has stolen his communicator and traded it to a group of thugs. Archer must fight to retrieve the communicator before he is stranded on the planet.
Meanwhile, T'Pol struggles to find a way to unwind on the pleasure planet. She is approached by alien trader Kaitaama, who tries to sell her an incredibly rare and valuable Vulcan artifact. T'Pol suspects that the artifact is a fake and refuses to purchase it, but Kaitaama's persistence leads T'Pol to discover a deeper plot that puts her life in danger.
Trip and Reed, who have come to Risa to relax and enjoy some time together, run into trouble when they inadvertently cause a bar fight. They are arrested and taken to prison, where they meet a group of alien smugglers who have been imprisoned for their crimes. Trip and Reed must use their wits to escape from prison and clear their names before they are locked up for good.
