Ep 18. Distant Voices

Distant Voices is the eighteenth episode of the third season of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The episode follows Dr. Julian Bashir, the station's chief medical officer, as he experiences a mysterious telepathic attack that sends him on a surreal and increasingly dangerous journey through his own memories and subconscious.

However, he is left shaken by the experience, and finds himself questioning the true nature of his identity and his own relationship to the people around him.

Distant Voices is a powerful and thought-provoking episode that explores the themes of memory, identity, and the power of the human mind. It features compelling performances from Alexander Siddig as Bashir, Rene Auberjonois as Odo, and the rest of the show's talented ensemble cast.
