Ep 13. Life Support

Kira faces a difficult decision when Vedek Bareil is critically injured in an attack on Deep Space Nine. Bareil's condition is unstable and he requires immediate medical attention from the advanced facilities on his home planet of Bajor, but transporting him there would likely lead to his death. Kira's loyalty to Bareil is tested, as she seeks advice from Sisko and Bashir on how best to proceed, while Golducat tries to use the situation to his advantage by offering to transport Bareil to Bajor himself. As Bareil's condition worsens, Kira must act quickly to save his life and face the consequences of her choices. Meanwhile, Jake and Nog begin their own business venture on the station, but run into trouble when their first customer turns out to be a Ferengi who has ulterior motives.
