Stand My Heroes: Piece of Truth is a Japanese anime series that premiered in 2019 on Tokyo MX. The show is based on the popular otome game by the same name and centers around the heroine, who is a young woman working as a newly-minted police officer in Tokyo. She finds herself working on a special task force where she is partnered with a group of elite detectives who have one job: solve drug-related crimes.

The show's protagonist is a fictional character named Rei Izumi, voiced by Jill Harris in the English dub. She is a recent graduate of the police academy and has been assigned to the newly-formed STAND (Special Team for Analysis of Narcotics and Dangerous Substances) task force. Her job requires her to work alongside a diverse cast of detectives, each with unique personalities and skill sets, to bring down drug dealers and smugglers.

David Matranga voices one of the lead characters, Daisuke Seki, the charismatic leader of the STAND task force. He uses his sharp instincts and clever reasoning to solve crimes and catch criminals. He is also known for his love of expensive wine, which he drinks before or after solving a difficult case.

David Wald voices Hatori Otani, a former hacker turned detective who specializes in technology and surveillance. His character is intelligent and sometimes socially awkward, but his hacking skills are invaluable to the team when it comes to gathering information about suspects and their activities.

As Rei and her team investigate drug crimes, they also discover the existence of a new drug called "Anthem," which is rumored to have mind-control properties. In order to stop the spread of this dangerous drug, the team must work together to find its source and stop its production.

The series combines action, suspense, and romance as it follows the team's investigations and challenges. Rei finds herself constantly in danger as she goes undercover to gather information and fight crime, but with the help of her team, she is determined to succeed.

The police and narcs confiscate a new drug. Rei attempts to recruit novelist Makoto Tsuzuki into STAND but receives a cold reception. Meanwhile, Makoto's younger brother and actor, Kyosuke, seems much nicer to Rei.
