Ep 3. Hammer Head

In Season 1 Episode 3 of Stan Lee's SuperHumans, titled "Hammer Head," viewers are introduced to a man who goes by the name of John Ferraro. Ferraro claims to have the strongest head in the world, capable of withstanding blows from hammers, baseball bats and even a truck.

The episode dives into Ferraro's past, including his time as a professional wrestler and a stint as a bouncer in a New York City nightclub. Ferraro always knew he was different from others, even as a child he found that hitting his head against the wall didn't hurt him like it did others. He soon realized he had a unique gift, and began testing the limits of his skull's strength.

After completing a physical exam and MRI, the show's host, Daniel Browning Smith, aka the "Rubberboy," takes Ferraro to a lab to test his abilities. The lab team measures Ferraro's skull's density and compares it to the average human's. The results show that Ferraro's skull is indeed thicker and stronger than the average person's, but no one could have predicted the extent of his abilities.

In the lab, Ferraro participates in several tests, including one where he has a cinder block smashed onto his head. As expected, the block shatters into pieces upon impact, but Ferraro doesn't even flinch. In another test, Ferraro is hit in the head with a sledgehammer, and once again, he barely feels a thing.

After Ferraro proves his skull's strength, the show brings in a hammer-wielding Russian martial artist, Alexey Goloborodko, to test his skills against Ferraro. The two men face off in what looks to be a potentially dangerous and gruesome competition.

Despite the risk of injury, Ferraro and Goloborodko manage to put on a memorable show that leaves viewers on the edge of their seats. Ferraro's superior head strength and Goloborodko's impressive martial arts skills makes for an exciting and unexpected match.

As the episode comes to a close, Ferraro reflects on his unusual ability and the attention it has brought him. He admits that while he's happy to be famous, he never set out to become a superhero or attract the attention of the masses. For Ferraro, his head strength is just another part of his unique identity, and he'll continue to test its limits.
