In the second part of the episode, "Sing a Song of Patrick," Patrick discovers that he has a budding talent for playing the guitar. With the help of SpongeBob, he decides to form a band and starts playing gigs all around Bikini Bottom. However, despite his enthusiasm and natural talent, Patrick quickly realizes that he has no idea how to write a song.
With SpongeBob's help, Patrick sets out to create the perfect song by incorporating all the things he loves - ice cream, jellyfish, and his best friend. Despite some initial setbacks, Patrick is eventually able to create a catchy tune that has the entire town singing along. However, when a greedy record producer offers him a contract, Patrick must decide whether or not he wants to pursue fame and fortune or stick with his roots and play music purely for the love of it.
