Ep 37. 20,000 Patties Under the Sea

SpongeBob SquarePants season 5 episode 37, titled "20,000 Patties Under the Sea," takes our favorite sponge and his best friend Patrick on a deep-sea adventure. The duo finds themselves working at the Krusty Krab, where Mr. Krabs has come up with a new plan to increase profits: selling Krabby Patties to the residents of Bikini Bottom who live in underwater caves deep beneath the sea.

Mr. Krabs equips the duo with a submarine and sends them on their way with a seemingly endless supply of Krabby Patties to sell. However, things take a turn for the worse when the submarine is damaged during a storm, causing them to crash land in a mysterious underwater cave. Trapped and with their submarine damaged beyond repair, SpongeBob and Patrick set out on foot to try and find their way out.

As they make their way deeper into the cave system, they encounter a variety of strange and wondrous creatures, including bioluminescent jellyfish and giant squids. They also stumble upon an ancient underwater city, complete with ruins that appear to be thousands of years old.

Despite the many dangers they face, SpongeBob and Patrick remain optimistic and continue their trek deeper into the cave system. Along the way, they uncover clues to the history of the underwater city and the creatures that once called it home.

As they get closer to finding their way out of the cave, SpongeBob and Patrick must outsmart a group of vicious eels and navigate treacherous underwater currents.
