Ep 5. Selling Out / Funny Pants

SpongeBob SquarePants season 4 episode 5 features two separate stories. The first is titled "Selling Out." His attempts become more and more over-the-top, eventually leading to him becoming a laughing stock in Bikini Bottom.

As SpongeBob continues to spiral out of control, his laugh becomes uncontrollable and he begins to lose his ability to communicate properly. He eventually becomes trapped in a comedic routine that he can't escape, causing confusion and chaos for everyone around him.
