Ep 2. Bubblestand/Ripped Pants

However, he realizes that his ripped pants have caused people to laugh and tries to recreate the scene by ripping his pants even further. This becomes a massive hit among people on the beach, much to SpongeBob's joy.

As the day progresses, SpongeBob's repetitive act of ripping pants becomes a nuisance for his friends and other beachgoers. They end up shunning him, and SpongeBob realizes the cost of trying too hard to be popular. In the end, his friends forgive him after he performs a hilarious song about his ripped pants.
