Pole-to-pole Part 1: Migration Vacation / Pole-to-pole Part 2: Pebbles is the 18th episode of the second season of Splash and Bubbles, a children's animated series that follows the adventures of a group of underwater friends as they explore the ocean and learn about its inhabitants.
In the first part of the episode, Migration Vacation, Splash and his friends take a trip to the Arctic to witness the annual migration of the narwhals. Along the way, they learn about the different ways that animals adapt to their environments and survive in the cold, harsh climate of the Arctic. They also meet new friends, including a young beluga whale named Bella and a group of walruses.
As they travel north, the group encounters a variety of challenges, such as strong currents and treacherous icebergs. They work together to overcome these obstacles and ultimately reach their destination, where they witness the spectacular sight of hundreds of narwhals swimming together in the icy waters.
In the second part of the episode, Pebbles, Splash and his friends travel to the other end of the world – the Antarctic – where they discover a surprising new ecosystem. Instead of coral reefs and colorful fish, they find a landscape of ice and snow, populated by penguins, seals, and other cold-adapted animals.
As the group explores this new environment, they learn about the importance of pebbles in the Antarctic ecosystem. These small rocks play a crucial role in the lives of many animals, providing a surface on which to lay eggs or build nests, and a source of nutrients for tiny organisms that form the base of the food chain.
Through their adventures in both the Arctic and the Antarctic, Splash and his friends gain a deeper appreciation for the diversity and richness of life in the ocean, as well as the importance of protecting this fragile ecosystem for future generations to enjoy.
