Ep 4. Lucky and the Harvest Hunt

Lucky and the Harvest Hunt is the fourth episode of the second season of the animated TV series Spirit Riding Free. The episode focuses on the annual Harvest Hunt, which is a tradition in Miradero. All the riders in the town compete to see who can gather the most carrots from the fields.

The episode starts with Lucky, the protagonist of the show, waking early in the morning to get ready for the Harvest Hunt. She is joined by her friends Pru and Abigail, and the three of them make their way to the starting line. All the contestants are given a sack to fill with carrots, and the riders set off into the fields.

As Lucky and her friends ride through the fields, they notice that some of the carrots have already been picked. They soon discover that a group of wild rabbits have snuck in and taken some of the carrots. Lucky decides to help the rabbits and tells her friends that they should gather enough carrots for the rabbits as well.

The riders ride through the fields, picking carrots as they go. Lucky spots a particularly large carrot and gets off her horse to pick it. As she bends down, she hears a rustling in the bushes. She thinks it's one of the rabbits and tries to befriend it. However, she is surprised to find out that it is actually a sneaky fox, who has been stealing carrots from the rider's sacks.

Lucky and her friends chase after the fox, but he manages to outrun them. Lucky realizes that the fox has been stealing carrots to feed his family, and she decides to help him out. She and her friends gather some of the extra carrots they had collected and leave them for the fox.

As the riders continue to gather carrots, they come across a tall fence blocking their way. Lucky thinks that they can't get through and that they will have to turn back. However, Pru suggests that they try jumping over the fence.

Lucky is hesitant at first, but with some encouragement from her friends, she decides to give it a try. She takes a deep breath and charges towards the fence. She manages to jump over it and lands safely on the other side. Abigail and Pru follow suit, and the three of them continue on their way.

The riders finally reach the end of the field, where the mayor is waiting to count the carrots. All the riders empty their sacks, and the mayor totals up the carrots. He declares the winner of the Harvest Hunt to be the rider who gathered the most carrots.

As the riders wait anxiously for the winner to be announced, Lucky spots the fox watching them from afar. She knows that the fox must be hungry and decides to give him some of the carrots she had collected.

The mayor announces the winner, and it's revealed to be Lucky's dad, Jim. Lucky is happy for her dad, but she's also proud of herself and her friends for helping the rabbits and the fox.

The episode ends with Lucky, Pru, and Abigail riding back to Miradero and talking about how much fun they had during the Harvest Hunt. Lucky realizes that she had a great day with her friends, and that sometimes it's not just about winning, but about helping others.
