Ep 4. The Neighs Have It
- April 3, 2020
As young girls continue to train at Palomino Bluffs Riding Academy, the stakes rise in episode 4 of Spirit Riding Free: Riding Academy. When the academy's team prepares for a jumping competition against a rival school, they quickly realize they might have an issue on their hands. None of the horses seem to be jumping very well, leaving the riders and coaches puzzled.
Lucky, the show's main character, joins forces with her friends to figure out the problem. She suspects that the horses are just bored with jumping the same obstacles every day. Lucky suggests adding a new jump, a complicated barrel jump, to the course. But the team isn't on board with the idea at first, considering it a risk that they don't need to take.
But Lucky is determined to prove herself and make a change for the better, so she turns to her father, Jim Prescott, for advice. He suggests building a new jump, which eventually leads to their horses becoming more engaged and interested. Even though there are a few hiccups in the process of introducing the new addition, the team learns to work together and come out successful in the end.
Apart from the horse jumping competition, there is also a subplot in episode 4 where Pru, another one of Lucky's friends, is struggling with her schoolwork. She feels insecure about her ability to keep up with the rest of her class and is afraid to ask for help. But her friends come together to support her, and Lucky devises a plan to help Pru study. Through teamwork and encouragement, Pru gains more confidence in her studies and her newfound knowledge helps her bond with her horse even more.
Overall, episode 4 of Spirit Riding Free: Riding Academy continues to highlight the importance of teamwork, determination, and personal growth. With engaging adventures and empowered young characters, it's a show that is both entertaining and inspiring for its young audience.
