Special Agent Oso is an animated children's television show that revolves around the titular character, Oso, who is a special agent in training for U.N.I.Q.U.E. (United Network for Investigating Quite Unusual Events). Along with his friends, Paw Pilot and Mr. Dos, Oso goes on missions to help children in need.
In season 2, episode 19 titled "License to Order / Table Manners Are Forever," Oso is tasked with two missions. In "License to Order," Oso's special assignment is to help a young boy named Spencer order food at a restaurant. Spencer is a picky eater and gets overwhelmed with all the choices on the menu. Oso and Paw Pilot help Spencer create a plan to order his food and help him overcome his anxieties.
In "Table Manners Are Forever," Oso's mission is to assist a little girl named Mallory with her table manners. Mallory is a big fan of fancy tea parties but needs help learning proper table etiquette. Oso and Mr. Dos teach Mallory the proper way to hold her utensils, the correct way to chew her food, and how to use her napkin.
As always, Oso's mission is not just about completing the assigned task, but also about teaching children important life skills and helping them build confidence and self-esteem. Throughout the episode, Oso emphasizes the importance of asking for help when needed, being a good listener, and practicing good manners.
