Ep 11. Zados, the Sand Planet

On Space Adventure Cobra season 1 episode 11, the audience is transported to the planet of Zados, a world made entirely of sand. The episode opens as Cobra and Lady Armaroid travel to Zados to meet with a scientist named Dr. Ubben. The two are hoping to find a new source of energy called Zadosite that can be used to power ships. However, they quickly discover that the planet is far from hospitable.

As they land on Zados, they are met by the locals, a group of underground-dwelling creatures called the Zadosites. These creatures are extremely hostile towards outsiders and attack Cobra and Lady Armaroid. After defeating the Zadosites, Cobra and Lady Armaroid meet with Dr. Ubben and learn more about the planet.

Dr. Ubben tells them that Zadosite is a highly valuable resource and that many individuals have come to the planet to try and exploit it. However, due to the hostile nature of the Zadosites, many of these individuals have never been seen again.

Cobra, being the adventurer that he is, decides to explore the planet further. He discovers an underground city where a group of miners are attempting to extract Zadosite. However, as they begin the extraction process, they accidentally awaken a giant sand monster known as the Rara.

Cobra and Lady Armaroid team up with the miners to stop the Rara before it destroys the entire planet. The team battles the Rara and employs a clever strategy to defeat it, saving the planet of Zados from destruction.

As the episode comes to a close, Cobra and Lady Armaroid leave the planet and head back into space. While they were able to obtain some Zadosite for their own purposes, Cobra can't help but feel a sense of sadness for the planet and its inhabitants. The audience is left with a sense of wonder about the vast and unpredictable nature of the universe and longing for another adventure with Cobra and Lady Armaroid.
