Ep 19. Missing Link

In "Missing Link," the 19th episode of Space 1999's first season, the moon's inhabitants are faced with a bizarre problem. Two of the Alphans, Koenig and Russell, inexplicably disappear, and when Tony and Maya set out to locate them, they discover a strange, alien world unlike anything they've ever seen before.

As they explore the planet, Tony and Maya begin to realize that the strange curves and formations they see actually represent a kind of living organism. But before they can comprehend the sheer scope of their discovery, a massive, terrifying creature appears, launching an attack on Maya.
