Soy Luna is a popular Argentine telenovela that follows the story of a teenage girl named Luna Valente (played by Karol Sevilla) who moves to Argentina with her family and starts working at a roller skating rink called Jam & Roller. In episode 33 of the first season, Luna deals with the fallout from Simon's discovery that she is actually Sol Benson, the daughter of his father's business partner.

Simon's father tries to talk to him about why Luna had to keep her identity a secret, but Simon isn't interested in hearing his father's excuses. He feels like he has been lied to, and he is angry and hurt.

The episode ends with Luna sitting outside of Jam & Roller, feeling overwhelmed and alone. Just when she thinks things can't get any worse, Matteo approaches her. Luna is surprised to see him, but she is also excited. Maybe Matteo is finally going to talk to her about her secret identity like a mature person. However, when Matteo speaks, he only makes things worse. He tells Luna that he can't be friends with someone who lied to him, and he walks away.
