Ep 28. Episode 28
- April 20, 2016
After the long-awaited concert, the roller-skating team is getting ready for an emotional farewell to Jam & Roller, as Soy Luna season 1 episode 28 begins. Luna's world has been rocked by the news that her parents are not dead but alive and living in Cancun. She's excited to finally meet them, but her world is thrown again when she has a terrible accident on the rink and suffers from amnesia, she has no recollection of the last few months. Her memory loss means that she also forgets her skating skills, her friends, and her life at the Rollers Arena. The only thing left are memories of a harsh winter and her dream of becoming a sensational singer.
While Luna tries to make sense of her fragmented memories, Matteo is struggling with his feelings for her. He has long had a crush on Luna, and this new situation complicates things even more. The once self-absorbed Matteo selflessly dedicates all his time to her, helping her remember the things she's forgotten by sparking specific feelings and emotions. Over time the two begin to bond but their relationship is constantly tested by outside forces.
Meanwhile, Nina's determination to help Gaston deceive Delfina, her stepmother, and keep the Pink Museum safe is throwing a wrench in her relationship with Simón. And if that wasn't enough to deal with, a new couple, Ana and Diego arrive at the Rollers Arena. Ana is a nice, joyful girl, who has a soft spot for everyone; Diego, however is her opposite, he's arrogant and has an allusive personality. The two constantly bicker and snipe at each other, leaving everyone in the middle of trying to figure out a way to coexist. As the episodes unfold, we see Ana slowly chip away at Diego's tough exterior, and it's not long before the animosity softens into flirtation.
The arrival of the difficult new couple also serves to muddle things up for Jim, who has finally gotten over the heartbreak of losing Matteo, and finds herself falling for the mysterious newcomer Diego, much sooner than she ever expected. To make matters even worse, the rude boy seems to be quite interested in her arch-rival Yam.
The season is coming to a close and the drama has never been higher. Relationships are tested, and secrets are exposed in an epic finale that no one saw coming. The Rollers Arena might be closing its doors, but the passion and dreams of those who call it home, continue to burn bright. Will Luna and Matteo get together derailed by Luna's memory loss? Will Nina ever be able to reveal to Gaston the truth about her actual stepmother? Who gets to win over Diego's heart in the end? Watch right till the end to find out.
