Randy Marsh is enjoying his newfound success as a successful businessman after striking gold with his new business venture, Tegridy Farms. However, his success comes with a cost- the town of South Park is now inundated with a heroin epidemic, causing chaos and destruction all over town. Meanwhile, the town’s elderly residents are being targeted and robbed by a group of burglars disguised as Hummel figurine collectors. With chaos reigning all over town, the boys decide to channel their inner superheroes and set out to put an end to the madness. Carmen teams up with Token and Butters to form The Coon and Friends while Kyle and Stan team up with Kenny and the new kid, Junior to form The Freedom Pals. The two groups are determined to put an end to the terrible drug crisis and to capture the burglars. However, when their efforts prove to be futile, the two groups come together to combine their powers and resources to save their town from peril.
The episode’s storyline highlights the ongoing opioid crisis that has been plaguing the United States for years, as well as the alarming trend of opioid addiction amongst the elderly population. The episode also features a satirical take on the collectibles market, highlighting the absurdity of the Hummel figurine craze.
