In South Park season 13 episode 8, entitled "Dead Celebrities," the town of South Park finds itself haunted by a parade of deceased celebrities who have all taken up residence in Michael Jackson's home. As the spirits of the famous departed begin to wreak havoc on the town, the boys of South Park decide to take matters into their own hands and engage in a hilarious battle against the undead celebrities.
The episode opens with Michael Jackson, who has apparently faked his own death, inviting all of his deceased celebrity friends to come and live with him in his mansion. As the spirits of the dead start to wreak havoc on the living, South Park becomes overrun with an army of undead celebrities, including Farrah Fawcett, Ed McMahon, and Billy Mays.
The boys, who are naturally drawn to the chaos, soon find themselves caught up in the middle of the supernatural battle. With the help of a few other living celebrities who have come to South Park for a charity benefit, the boys set out to defeat the zombie-like celebs and put an end to the madness once and for all.
As they face off against the undead, the boys must contend with not only the supernatural powers of the dead celebrities but also their own personal demons. Meanwhile, the living stars of South Park find themselves facing off against their undead counterparts in a battle of the living versus the dead.
Through it all, South Park season 13 episode 8, "Dead Celebrities," manages to deliver plenty of laughs and plenty of frights. From the ridiculous and hilarious sight of a zombie-like Michael Jackson leading an army of undead celebs, to the surprisingly emotional moments of the episode, this installment of South Park is every bit as entertaining and thought-provoking as fans have come to expect.
