In the third episode of Sons of Anarchy season 2, titled "Fix," tensions rise within the SAMCRO (Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club Redwood Original) as they try to handle the aftermath of the previous episode's events. The episode opens with a heated exchange between Clay and Jax regarding Jax's emotional state and his ability to lead the club.
Meanwhile, SAMCRO is still trying to mediate the escalating conflict between rival gangs, the Mayans and the Nords, who are fighting over control of drug trafficking in the area. Jax and Opie set out to broker a deal with the Mayans, but the meeting goes awry and results in a violent confrontation.
At the same time, Gemma is struggling to cope with the aftermath of being raped by white separatist leader, Ethan Zobelle. She confides in her friend and fellow club member, Tara, who attempts to help her cope with the trauma.
On the law enforcement side of things, Agent Stahl is working to build a case against SAMCRO, but finds herself at odds with her superior, who is more interested in taking down the white separatist group. Stahl turns to a familiar face, Lowen, for assistance in gathering evidence against the club.
As the episode progresses, it becomes clear that SAMCRO is facing threats from all sides – from within their own club and from external enemies. The tension is palpable as the club members struggle to navigate these challenges and maintain their power and control over their territory.
Overall, "Fix" is a tense and action-packed episode that sets the stage for the rest of the season. The themes of loyalty and betrayal are strongly present, as the club members must grapple with the idea of turning on their own and the consequences that come with that decision. The character development is nuanced and complex, as each member of the club is forced to confront their own demons and reckon with the implications of their actions. Fans of the show will not be disappointed with this thrilling and impactful episode.
