Ep 7. Project: Shadow

Sonic X season 2 episode 7, titled "Project: Shadow", follows our blue hedgehog hero as he teams up with his friends to investigate a mysterious facility in space. The episode begins with Dr. Eggman discovering a strange reading from space and dispatching his minions to investigate.

As the group tries to figure out what to do with Shadow, they are confronted by Eggman and his minions. It quickly becomes clear that Eggman wants Shadow for himself due to his immense power and advanced technology. Sonic and his friends are forced to fight off Eggman's forces while also trying to protect Shadow.

During the chaos, Shadow uncovers a video recording from Professor Gerald explaining that Shadow was created to avenge the death of Maria, his granddaughter and Shadow's best friend. Maria was killed during a raid on the research facility, and Professor Gerald vowed to create the ultimate weapon to protect the planet from harm.

However, the project was deemed too dangerous and was shut down before Shadow could be completed. Eggman had somehow gotten his hands on Shadow's incomplete prototype and had been able to complete his creation.

As the battle rages on, Shadow decides to fight alongside Sonic and his friends to take down Eggman and protect the planet. In a thrilling final battle, Sonic and Shadow team up to defeat Eggman's latest machine.

The episode ends with Sonic and his friends saying farewell to Shadow as he decides to go on his own journey to learn more about his past and become a hero like Sonic. The group leaves the research facility, unaware that there are still more sinister forces at work behind the scenes.

Overall, "Project: Shadow" is an action-packed episode that explores the origins of one of Sonic's most popular characters. With plenty of battles and exciting plot twists, it is a must-watch for fans of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
