Ep 18. Blast to the Past (2)

In Sonic the Hedgehog season 1 episode 18, titled Blast to the Past (2), Sonic and Sally continue their journey into the past to find a way to stop Dr. Robotnik from taking over their kingdom of Mobius. In the previous episode, Sonic and Sally traveled back in time and met up with the young version of Sally's father, King Acorn, and her uncle, Duke of Elsewhere. The group discovered that Dr. Robotnik gained his power by using a powerful gemstone known as the Deep Power Stones. They also learned that the only way to defeat Robotnik was to obtain the Deep Power Stones before he did.

As they continue their journey through time, Sonic and Sally find themselves in the midst of a war between the Freedom Fighters and Robotnik's army. They soon discover that the Deep Power Stones are located in the Floating Island, a land that used to be inhabited by a race of intelligent echidnas. However, the echidnas had disappeared mysteriously, leaving the island empty. Sonic and Sally team up with Knuckles, the last surviving echidna, to retrieve the Deep Power Stones before Robotnik does.

As they navigate through the Floating Island, Sonic and his friends encounter various obstacles, including traps laid out by Robotnik's forces. They also face off against Metal Sonic, a robot version of Sonic created by Robotnik. The group must work together to defeat Metal Sonic and retrieve the Deep Power Stones, which prove to be more powerful than they initially thought.

However, their mission is not without its setbacks. Sally is captured by Robotnik and his forces, leaving Sonic and Knuckles to come up with a plan to rescue her. In the process, they discover Robotnik's real plan, which involves using the Deep Power Stones to create a powerful weapon that could destroy Mobius and everyone on it. Sonic and Knuckles must prevent Robotnik from carrying out his evil plan and save Sally before it's too late.

As the episode comes to a close, Sonic and his friends successfully defeat Robotnik and retrieve the Deep Power Stones. They return to their own time, armed with the knowledge and tools they need to take down Robotnik once and for all. Blast to the Past (2) provides plenty of action, adventure, and suspense as Sonic and his friends continue their epic journey to save their beloved kingdom.
