Ep 7. Double Doomsday

In Sonic Boom season 1 episode 7 titled "Double Doomsday," the gang is hanging out in the village when they notice Dr. Eggman lurking around. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Sticks decide to keep an eye on him and figure out what he's up to. They follow him to his lair and discover that he's building two doomsday robots: Obliterator Bot and Obliterator Bot 2.0.

Determined to stop Eggman from unleashing the robots on the village, Sonic and his friends come up with a plan to sabotage the robots before they're fully operational. However, things don't go as planned when Tails accidentally activates Obliterator Bot 2.0, causing it to go on a destructive rampage.

The group splits up to try and stop the robots, but they quickly realize they're outmatched. Just when things seem hopeless, they're saved by an unexpected ally: Knuckles' rival, the ninja warrior named Nominatus. Nominatus proposes that they join forces to take down the robots together and the group reluctantly agrees.

With Nominatus' help, they're able to weaken the robots enough for Sonic to deliver the final blow. But just as they think they've succeeded, Eggman activates a failsafe in Obliterator Bot. The robot sets off a chain reaction that threatens to destroy the entire island. Sonic and his friends race against the clock to stop the explosion and save the village.

In the end, they're successful and everyone cheers as the island is saved. Sonic and his friends realize that they wouldn't have been able to do it without Nominatus and they thank him for his help. Nominatus surprises them by revealing that he's not actually a ninja warrior, but a scientist who specializes in weapons engineering. Knuckles is shocked to learn that his rival has been hiding this side of himself, but the group agrees that they're happy to have him as an ally.

"Double Doomsday" is a thrilling episode filled with action, humor, and unexpected twists. The addition of Nominatus adds new depth to the show's recurring characters and the teamwork displayed by Sonic and his friends is a testament to the power of friendship. Fans of the Sonic franchise and newcomers alike will enjoy this exciting installment of Sonic Boom.
