Ep 6. Fortress of Squalitude

Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy discover a new island off the coast of their regularly explored land of Bygone Island. The island is home to Dr. Eggman's latest fortress, the Fortress of Squalitude, but with the added twist of being completely covered in a dense fog. The team decides to investigate despite the danger, unsure of what Eggman is planning.

Upon arrival, they soon realize that the dense fog is not natural, but rather a result of Eggman's nefarious schemes. While traversing the fortress, the team splits into two groups - Sonic and Knuckles together, and Tails and Amy together. Sonic and Knuckles find themselves caught in a room filled with water, forcing them to swim to safety. Meanwhile, Tails and Amy must navigate a series of electrified platforms that move sporadically. Both groups eventually reconvene, only to find that Eggman has been controlling their every move through the fog, allowing him to prepare for their eventual defeat.

The team eventually reaches the heart of the fortress, where they discover Eggman has been developing a new weapon that utilizes the power of the surrounding fog. In a final showdown with Eggman, Sonic and the others must use their unique abilities to defeat the mad doctor's latest creation, save the island, and thwart his plans once again.

In the end, the team successfully destroys the Fortress of Squalitude and frees the island from Eggman's grasp. However, as they leave the island, they are left wondering what other secrets and dangers their world holds, and what other schemes Eggman has in store for them.
