Something Bit Me! is a new comedy series that premiered on Disney+ in 2022. The show follows the adventures of the Smith family, who move from the big city to a small town nestled deep in the woods. On their first night in their new home, middle schooler Amanda Smith is bitten by something mysterious while sleeping, which gives her unexpected superpowers. She gains the abilities to run at superspeed, hear at superhuman levels, and lift heavy objects. Amanda tries to hide her newfound skills from her oblivious parents and her older brother Brandon, leading to hilarious mishaps and sticky situations as she learns to control her powers.

At school, Amanda befriends Ada, a tech genius who helps her test the limits of her abilities using crazy gadgets and experiments. Ada is the only one who knows Amanda's secret. Together, they try to uncover the mystery of what bit Amanda in the woods behind her house. Was it a radioactive spider? Genetically engineered mosquito? Or something supernatural? Amanda and Ada have to combine their powers, intelligence and determination to uncover the mysteries of their town, help its quirky residents and defend it from the threatening forces that could expose Amanda and ruin the simple life she and her family sought out in this remote haven.
