Snoop Dogg is a rapper from the West Coast. He came to fame under the guidance of Dr. Dre, as have so many other famous hip-hop stars. Snoop is known for many hit albums including ThaDoggfather, Reincarnation and Doggystyle. Through mutual friend Warren G, Snoop was introduced to Dr. Dre in the early 90s. They worked on the album Doggystyle together. It released in 1993 and shot straight to the top of the Billboard's hip-hop and Top 200 charts. This success was delivered on the backs of the hit singles "Gin and Juice" and "What's My Name."

Snoop's very next album, Tha Doggfather, dropped in 1996 and skyrocketed yet again to the top. Each consecutive album after that banged the roof on the charts. "Da Game Is To Be Sold, Not To Be Told," and "No Limit Top Dogg" rounded out his 90's hits.
