The show's premise is reminiscent of the classic comedy film "Trading Places," in which a homeless man is given the opportunity to live like a rich person, albeit temporarily. However, Snobs puts a unique spin on the concept by focusing on the social dynamics of the North Shore, a notoriously exclusive and competitive enclave of Sydney's wealthiest residents.
