Ep 6. Stranger Things

In the sixth episode of season two of Sneaker Shopping, the show takes a nod towards the hit Netflix series, Stranger Things. Joe La Puma meets up with Caleb McLaughlin, who plays the role of Lucas Sinclair in the sci-fi show, to check out his love for kicks and discuss his current projects.

The episode starts with the two walking around Stadium Goods, an amazing sneaker store in New York City. Caleb seems to have some knowledge about sneakers, especially after working in the fashion industry for some time now. He discusses his love for sneakers and reveals that he is not a fan of online shopping and prefers to visit the stores instead.

As Joe La Puma words his questions, Caleb shares his excitement about the series Stranger Things and how it has affected his career. He talks about his contribution to the fashion world and how he enjoys working as a model. When Joe quizzes him about his character on the show, Caleb reveals details on how Lucas Sinclair likes Nikes.

Joe and Caleb continue to browse through the different sections of the store, trying on different shoes and comparing them to see which would be the best fit for him. Caleb takes particular attention to the Nike Air Max and shares a story about how he wore them on one of his photoshoots.

As he speaks, you can visibly see the passion he has for shoes, a topic he often discusses with his childhood friends. Caleb's final pick is the Kobe IV Protro Poppin, a bright yellow sneaker with a black base that he admits he's always been fond of and prefers.
