Antoinette Stephen & Kashif Parvaiz is the seventh episode of season 6 of Snapped: Killer Couples. The episode tells the story of how the marriage of Antoinette Stephen and Kashif Parvaiz turned into a deadly conspiracy.
The episode begins with the introduction of Antoinette Stephen, a nurse from New Jersey, and her husband Kashif Parvaiz, a software engineer. The couple met online in 2008 and quickly fell in love. They got married in a traditional Muslim ceremony in 2010 and had two children together.
However, their life together was not as perfect as it seemed. Antoinette struggled with mental health issues and had a history of violent behavior. She had been admitted to a psychiatric hospital multiple times and had even been arrested for assaulting Kashif with a stun gun in 2011.
Despite this, the couple stayed together and even moved to North Carolina in 2012 for Kashif's job. But on the night of August 16, 2011, their lives were rocked by a shocking event. Kashif and Antoinette were walking with their son in a park when they were approached by two men who opened fire on them. Kashif was shot multiple times and died on the scene, while Antoinette was injured but survived.
The investigation into the shooting revealed a shocking truth – it was not a random act of violence, but a carefully planned murder. And to everyone's surprise, Antoinette was not the intended target – it was Kashif.
As the investigation progressed, Antoinette's behavior raised suspicion. She gave conflicting statements to the police and changed her story multiple times. She also refused to cooperate with the investigation and tried to leave the state.
Finally, the truth came out – Antoinette had conspired with Kashif's childhood friend, Raheem Simmons, to orchestrate his murder. The motive was a combination of greed and jealousy. Antoinette wanted Kashif's life insurance money, and Raheem was jealous of Kashif's success and wanted the same.
The murder plot was sinister. Antoinette had convinced Kashif to take a walk in the park with their son, knowing that Raheem would be waiting for him. Raheem shot Kashif multiple times and fled the scene, leaving Antoinette injured to create the illusion of a random attack.
The investigation led to the arrest of Antoinette, Raheem, and a third person who had assisted in the plot. Antoinette was eventually found guilty of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
The episode of Snapped: Killer Couples sheds light on a dark conspiracy that resulted in the death of an innocent man. It also highlights the dangers of greed and jealousy and how they can lead people to commit heinous crimes.
