In the fourth episode of Snake City's third season, titled "Hiss of Death," Simon and Siouxsie head to a neighborhood in Durban, South Africa, to respond to a call about a deadly snake. Upon arriving at the scene, the snake catchers discover that the snake responsible for the call was a highly venomous Black Mamba that was hiding inside a building.
With the help of the building's caretaker, the snake catchers begin their search for the Black Mamba. After a tense search, they finally locate the snake and attempt to capture it. However, the Black Mamba does not go down without a fight, and the snake catchers must use all of their skills to subdue it safely.
Next, Simon and Siouxsie travel to a nearby hotel after receiving reports of a snake sighting. Upon arrival, they discover that the snake in question was a harmless Spotted Bush Snake, but the situation quickly becomes more complicated. While Simon is trying to catch the Spotted Bush Snake, he spots a second, more dangerous snake: a Gaboon Viper.
The Gaboon Viper is one of Africa's deadliest snakes and has a potent venom that can cause serious harm or even death. Simon and Siouxsie must work quickly to capture the Gaboon Viper, all while avoiding being bitten themselves.
Finally, Simon and Siouxsie receive a call about a young girl who was bitten by a snake while playing outside her home. The snake catchers rush to the scene and find that the girl was bitten by a Black Mamba, one of the deadliest snakes in Africa.
Simon and Siouxsie immediately spring into action to treat the girl's injuries and transport her to the hospital. Along the way, they discuss the importance of snake safety and prevention, and how educating people about snakes can help prevent dangerous encounters like this one.
Overall, "Hiss of Death" is a thrilling episode of Snake City that showcases the dangers snake catchers face every day in their line of work. From deadly Black Mambas to elusive Gaboon Vipers, Simon and Siouxsie demonstrate their dedication and expertise in handling some of the world's deadliest snakes.
