Ep 16. Promise

Clark learns some upsetting news about the person he believes to be his father, Jonathan, when he receives a mysterious package from a stranger. Meanwhile, Lionel continues to work to win Kristin's affections by promising to help her track down the person she believes to be her birth mother. Chloe becomes suspicious of the new Daily Planet editor, Linda Lake (guest star Tori Spelling), who seems to be able to get her hands on any information about anyone. And Lois and Jimmy investigate the murder of the accountant who was working for Lex and soon realize that there is much more to the story than meets the eye.
