Ep 18. Spirit

Naman believed that Jodi's adoptive parents stole land from his tribe, and he sought revenge by using his supernatural powers to kill her.

As Clark and Lana try to stop Naman from harming anyone else, they are faced with another problem. Naman's powers prove to be too strong, and Clark is unable to defeat him. However, he discovers that the legend of the "Spirit Warrior" may not be entirely true – the spirit needs a physical body to carry out its mission, and Naman's body is not strong enough to withstand the spirit's power. Clark exploits this weakness to defeat Naman, reverting him to his mortal form.

The episode ends on a hopeful note as Martha and Clark reconcile, and Jason is cleared of any wrongdoing. Clark and Lana also share a tender moment, where they declare their love for each other.
