In Sleepy Hollow season 2 episode 6, And the Abyss Gazes Back, we find Ichabod and Abbie investigating a new case involving a group of teenage girls who appear to be dabbling in the occult. As the investigation unfolds, Hawley's true intentions are called into question, and Ichabod and Abbie must decide whether or not to trust him.
As the demon's hold over the possessed girls grows stronger, Ichabod and Abbie turn to an old friend for help. They seek out Jenny Mills, Abbie's estranged sister, who has a dark past of her own. Jenny proves to be a valuable asset to the team, but her presence also puts her in danger.
As the episode draws to a close, Ichabod and Abbie are left with more questions than answers. The demon they have been hunting is far more powerful than they ever imagined, and they begin to realize that they may have stumbled upon a much larger conspiracy. The stakes have never been higher, and Ichabod and Abbie must work together to save Sleepy Hollow from the forces of darkness.
