Ep 2. Doubtful? A Letter from Home!

The episode begins with Lina and Gourry searching for information about a powerful magical item called the Claire Bible. As they travel, Lina receives a letter from her sister, Luna, who she hasn't seen in years. Luna asks Lina to come to her hometown of Sairaag to help with a mysterious problem.

When Lina and Gourry arrive in Sairaag, they are greeted by Luna, who explains that the town has been besieged by a powerful demon. Luna and her friends have been fighting the demon for weeks, but they haven't been able to defeat it. Lina agrees to help, and together with Luna and her friends, they set out to find the demon and defeat it once and for all.

As they travel, Lina begins to question Luna's motives for asking her to come to Sairaag. Luna seems distant and cold, and Lina wonders if there is something she's not telling her. When they finally find the demon, Lina discovers the truth about Luna's request and must decide whether to help her sister or abandon her to her fate.

Meanwhile, Zelgadis and Amelia are on their own journey to find the Claire Bible. They come across a town where all the women have been turned into stone. Zelgadis suspects that the Claire Bible might be responsible and sets out to find the source of the curse. Along the way, they meet a young girl who seems to have a connection to the Claire Bible and might be able to help them in their quest.

As Lina and Gourry fight the demon and Zelgadis and Amelia search for the Claire Bible, they both begin to realize the weight of their past actions. Lina and Gourry remember the destruction they caused in Sairaag during their previous adventures, while Zelgadis is reminded of his own cursed condition and the people he's hurt along the way. They each reflect on their own doubts and insecurities as they fight to protect the people they love and find the answers they seek.

In the end, Lina and Gourry are able to defeat the demon, but not without some emotional wounds.
