Lina Inverse, the powerful sorceress, and her group of misfit adventurers find themselves in the midst of a culinary crisis in episode 7 of Slayers season 2 titled "Sudden Cooking! Follow the Phantom Dragon!"
The episode begins with Lina, Gourry, Zelgadis, and Amelia stopping by to rest and eat at a small village. However, the village is thrown into chaos when a legendary Phantom Dragon appears and starts wreaking havoc. Determined to not let the villagers go hungry, Lina sets out to find the missing cook and enlists the help of her friends to follow the trail of the Phantom Dragon. Along the way, they encounter a group of goblins who are also searching for the Phantom Dragon. The goblins tell Lina and her group that the Phantom Dragon possesses the secret ingredient that can make any dish taste delicious.
With this newfound knowledge, Lina and her group make it their mission to catch the Phantom Dragon and retrieve the secret ingredient. They engage in an intense battle with the dragon, and in the end, Lina is able to capture it and retrieve the ingredient.
With the secret ingredient in hand, Lina is finally able to create a delicious meal for the villagers. They are overjoyed and grateful for the food, and Lina gains newfound respect and admiration from them.
Despite the chaos and challenges they faced, Lina and her group are able to triumph over adversity and save the day once again. The episode ends with Lina and her friends continuing on their journey, ready to face whatever challenges come their way next.
